Durable Water Repellency (DWR)
Our Durable Water Repellency (DWR) fabric keeps you dry by causing rain and other moisture to bead when it touches the surface of your new garment. The durability rating of our fabric is 80/20 which means they retain 80% of their DWR coating after 20 washes. This is one of the highest DWR ratings available in the performance sportswear market today.
Water Resistance & Breathability
Our Eagle Shell Jacket has some of the highest ratings for water resistance and breathability available today. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water in millimeters that the fabric can support before water penetration occurs. Our Eagle Shell Jacket is rated to 20,000 mm, the best rating possible for an outer shell material. Breathability is measured by the rate at which water vapor passes through one square meter of our fabric over a 24 hour period. The more water vapor that passes through, the better the breathability. Again we have an industry leading rating of 20,000 gm. Rest assured that when you are wearing our performance sportswear, that you are protected by some of the most technically advanced fabrics of the twenty first century.
